Meet chrisChris Short grew up in Burnsville, Minnesota and went to college at Coastal Carolina University. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration/Marketing and a minor in Professional Golf Management. Chris worked as the Head Golf Professional at the Wilds Golf Club for five years, while doing construction work on the side. When he discovered he had a passion for construction, Chris left the golf business, obtained his General Contracting license, and founded White Pine Construction Company in 2013. Chris enjoys all aspects of his work, especially seeing his clients' reactions to finished projects and bringing his dog, Clarence to the job site.
